So now that I have been listening to Massive Attack's "paradise circus" for a few days now on repeat, I realize that I am not going crazy. There is something seriously familiar about the song and I could hear the lyrics in my head, but could not quite put my finger on what song it was. Well, it finally came to me. Bring me back to junior high....summer...13 years old listening to Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins. Cassette...one of my jazillion cassette tapes... before I owned CD's. "Circus Parade" definitely has similar elements, at least at the beginning of this song.
